I'll never look at skiing the same again... all the years that I've pretended to ski in Wisconsin were a lie... Today I went down some REAL slopes! I have a hard time trying to describe how much fun I had skiing today in Big Sky, Montana! Simply put, it was amazing! And Lisa, who has never been on skis before took an all day lesson and she was doing very well by the end of the day. We spent the day on Moonlight Basin, which is the sister resort/hill to "Big Sky". We had such a good time, we may go again, and this time spend the big ching on Big Sky.
Here are a couple of pictures from today:

Trish and I up near the top... not all the way to the top, but up pretty darned high up!

A nice view from up at the top of the 6 person chair lift... Trish and I did one run that was higher than this one.. but even though it was 30 degrees, it was pretty cold and very windy when you got high up the mountain.

Here is a pic of Lisa skiing.... Trish and I caught up to her a few times throughout the day to make sure her lesson was going well and to see if she was having a good time. She really liked her first skiing experience and hopefully that means we'll be at Big Sky on Monday!
Tomorrow we get up early again, but this time we are going into West Yellowstone to hook up with our snowmobile tour of the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. I should have some sweet pictures from that trip! Oh, we spotted 5 rams today on the side of a hill.. We were in a hurry when we saw the first two, so we couldn't stop and take pictures, but I snapped a couple from the side of the road on the way back, we saw a female, baby, and male ram.. I didn't get a good picture of the male though.. he was hiding behind a tree. :P
